Petrullo, David A., age 57, of Prospect Park, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Born in Lodi, David was a lifelong resident of Prospect Park. He worked as a pipeline inspector for the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission and had previously worked as a foreman for Al-Vin Coat Factory. David was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Hawthorne. He was an avid sports fan with a passion for basketball and the NY Yankees. He was lovingly referred to as “Coach” and “Big Dave”.
David was the beloved father of David Petrullo and his fiancé Maura Wallace of Prospect Park and Alyson Petrullo of Prospect Park. Loving brother of Thomas Petrullo and his wife Sandy of Park Ridge and Robert Petrullo and his wife Nancy of Oveido, FL. Dear son-in-law of Vincenzo and Alice Verrone of North Haledon. Brother-in-law of Anthony Verrone and his wife Shari of Randolph. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will depart at 9am on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne for a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm.
